Let Your Light Shine: Embrace Being Unique

Aren’t kids so wonderfully weird? They are. When do we lose that ability to be so authentically wonderfully weird? It’s usually around the time we start to worry what other people think of us. You don’t see a kid wearing a Batman costume and living his best superhero life looking around to make sure no one is laughing at him. What if we never lost that quality?

This interactive workshop for kids, ages 6-10, will

highlight what makes us each special and encourage children to show up as themselves in the world. Children will hear a story read out loud with a theme of being proud of who you are. Children will be able to share their ideas about the book then complete an activity that encourages them to use positive words to describe themselves. Children will be lead through a guided meditations using positive affirmations. Children will get to share about what makes them special and unique and leave feeling good about the person they are.
